He was in the unit one day.

He was in my housing unit.

And he said, hey, bro, you ought to check this article out.

And he gives me an article called Arms and the Dudes.

And so I read it, and it's about these two guys.

It's about Ephraim Deverelli and David Packhausen.

They were a couple of stoner, two Jewish stoners in Miami who were selling arms to the U.S.,

to the U.S.

government for the Afghan security forces.

So the U.S.

government's getting contracts and buying military armament from these two stoners who are like 19 and 22 years old in Afghanistan.

I mean, in Miami.

And all they're doing is making phone calls to –

some of the old former Soviet bloc countries who are trying to kind of switch over to NATO armaments.

And so they've got all this excess arms that they're selling, and the US government's funding this project.

And so they're just calling around trying to get like, hey, cheap ammunition, cheap AK-47s, cheap whatever.

and they're filling different task orders.

Because they had ended up winning a $300 million contract.

It was actually 298, but whatever.

$300 million contract to supply arms.
