I said, oh, that's great.

I arrange a time for them to meet.

But by the time they arrange a time to meet, what ends up happening is really, and it's Ross that is coming to meet me.

Deverelli's family is coming to meet him.

Because Ross can't get on Deverelli's – his visitation agreement – I mean his visitation list.

Because to get on a federal inmate's visitation list, you have to have had a previous relationship with them.

He didn't.

So he was already on mine because the first time Ross came to see me, he came with my brother-in-law who's a lawyer.

So he was able to get on the list.

He couldn't do that with Deverelli.

So he had to come see me.

Deverelli's family comes to see him.

So we'll both be in the, we'll all be in the visitation room together.

So every time that they had a meeting, I was there.

So what happens is in the meantime, just before Ross comes,

Deverelli says to me, can I read your memoir?

And I just kind of was finishing it up, right?

I was like, sure.

So I give him the manuscript.

Like three days later, he gives it back to me.
