It was a 24-hour mission.
That Firefly was put on contract by the Space Force, Space Safari, and Firefly absolutely nailed it.
It was a flawless launch, and it broke the previous record of 21 days.
And it really just was a huge deal because it deters US adversaries from doing bad things in space.
And now the US Space Force has this capability with Firefly.
So that was my first introduction to Firefly.
I got to know some of the people.
I saw the culture.
I saw a generational company.
So when I was asked to come lead the company back in 2024, I had no hesitation, came over.
and got to be part of this amazing team.
And, you know, the rest is history.
Yeah, I mean, Zaid, it was a transformative year.
2025, we landed on the moon, first commercial company to do it successfully, and then do a 14-day mission and knocked all the objectives out of the park for NASA.
And then we did go public in August, and it was a historic IPO.
And that helped us with raising cash on the balance sheet.
But then we also acquired an AI data center company called SciTech.
And that bolstered our positioning in national security, particularly things like Golden Dome and, you know, SciTech is the prime contractor on Forge, which is the no-fail, you know, it's the single most important ground processing mission for the Space Force to do missile warning, missile tracking, and keep our U.S.
and our allies safe from missile threats.
And even in the recent conflict in Iran, first 30 days, it was capturing 1,000 missile messages to keep our people safe and our allies safe.
