This is some years ago, but and he's going through and what's wonderful about Nicolas Cage is like he's such a chaotic and crazy and unpredictable actor in all of the best ways and frankly, all of the worst ways.
But to hear him talk about his process for so many of these bananas characters, you are like, oh, there is not just a method to his madness, but there is madness to his method.
Yeah.
You know, like it is.
I love it.
fascinating to watch I very much think people should watch it just to get insights into the fact that he's talking about like you know whatever movie crazy dumb you know Gone in 60 Seconds or Con Air but he's like talking about Brecht a couple classics but even like it could happen to you and he's like well what was the quote he had that was making its way around about this I think it was from the Esquire feature and he was like 70% Humphrey Bogart 30% Bugs Bunny yes
That's great.
Oh, it's in there.
Absolutely.
I mean, I wish there was a tray of lemon cookies right now.
I agree.
We'll put one in.
Oh, I feel like, yeah.
Especially, I mean, it's so fun to play with those tropes.
It's so fun to be inside of, when he's not in, like, in the, we'll talk about it in this show, but especially in that movie, in those two movies, it's a blast to have, like, a hard-boiled, you know, detective roaming around.
And he's perfect for it.
Boy, so speaking of Bugs Bunny, I found it, it's a tough one for me because there's a lot of stuff that I really liked and really enjoyed.
For me, I will say it's,
A little bit of there is simultaneously somehow I made a note in here too much going on and also not enough for me to do eight one hour episodes.
You know, I mean, like it's been a great movie.
