It is, I had similar problems with this than I had with Daredevil, which was, what is the story we're telling?

You're like, is it these small pieces or is it this big piece?

It felt, again, both too much and not enough for me to understand what the story was and how to receive it in terms of like,

Yeah.

It was a really good line.

That's a great line.

He had great stuff.

It just wasn't, he wasn't, it wasn't a compelling enough story to maintain a singular villain for eight one-hour episodes who didn't himself have a story of his own.

Yeah, and we care about- You know, even the Kingpin has a more substantial storyline.

Exactly.

I don't even know who he's running against.

I think so, but I think that's it.

It's not relevant to us enjoying this at all.

And in fact, could all go away.

And the streamlined version of this street level Spider-Man story would be so much more satisfying.
