They're on this adventure that for the group of heroes is so totemic for them because it's a decade of their lives.
And she's like, that's nothing.
And she's like, I'll see you in 50 years.
We'll meet again to see the meteor storm again in 50 years.
And when she sees them, they're all old and dying.
And she hasn't aged a beat.
And it sends her into this kind of existential crisis.
And she then takes on an apprentice, starts to assemble a new group.
So the show is bouncing between
Her and her apprentice, Fern, who is maybe one of my favorite characters in all of stories now.
They're young warriors, Stark.
And they are now walking the path that she walked in her former fellowship, in her former group.
They are walking the same path, encountering some of the same townspeople, encountering some of the same bad guys.
And but really, it's about learning how to connect with people and learning how to be a friend and a human being and how to how to really connect with people.
And that to me, I think is what I think is wonderful about the show is I watch a lot of shows, anime shows that are about people fighting demons and people fighting dragons, Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer and all these shows that are that are sentenced to being a hero.
These are great shows that are a blast.
But Freeran to me is, those things happen throughout, but really it's about the slice of life, moment to moment, episodic nature of their group of friends getting to be closer with each other.
And it is so satisfying and so sweet.
And I think that's why I keep coming back to it.
It scratches that itch to me that like Great British Bake Off does.
