I'd rather put it in park and then I can use both hands, both feet, do whatever I need to.
I feel like I can put all my attention into dealing with the situation if I don't have to worry about my truck rolling on me.
Well, my other thought with that too was like, if my family's in the truck and I can't get my truck out of the situation, I would rather put it in park, get out of the truck so that if he is going to shoot at me, I'm not in the truck while he's shooting into the truck with my two kids and my wife in there.
I'd rather be the target away from them.
The thing that I really like about this situation is that it's sufficiently vague that if your answer is, well, I'm just going to go forward, reverse, forward, reverse until I make a hole and get out of there.
And the guy was just trying to sell you roses or something.
They've got to present a threat.
