All right, let's move to that absolutely batshit crazy Lakers game.
So we got the news that KD was out just before the game.
Sprained his ankle with about seven minutes left in game two.
Kind of a weird sequence where he like sprained it.
Very clearly sprained it.
You could see it on the video, but he's like running immediately after it.
So it looked like he was going to be fine.
Finished the game.
But then apparently he had some swelling and it just was something that he wasn't able to play through tonight.
The weird thing was he didn't even sit on the bench with his team during the game, which I thought was strange, but apparently he was getting some treatment, no Kevin Durant and the rockets looked really flat early to the Lakers credit.
They have consistently been the harder playing team in this series.
That's where I think you've really seen the leadership of JJ Redick and Marcus smart and LeBron James.
There's been very little of that typical playoff series ebb and flow of urgency.
I've always talked about the buzzsaw game three, that game three that can be such a difficult game to win on the road.
That was just so not the case.
The Lakers just were immediately in control of this one.
It was a little back and forth for the first five, six minutes, and then the Lakers just kind of slowly asserted control from there.
But the Rockets ended up making a real run at this one.
They had a late second quarter run like they've had in every single game where they started to wear on the Lakers with their defensive pressure and their offensive rebounding, which started to lead to those mistakes that the Lakers have made in those late second quarter runs.
