It has been, as I said, just a joy to watch and to root for Marcus Smart.
I feel like he's worth a hell of a lot more than $5 million.
And I don't know how that affects his chances of staying in LA.
And I have no idea where he'll end up next, whether it's in LA or if it's somewhere else.
But like, if you have a chance to get Marcus Smart on your team, take it.
The dude's a winner.
And I hope he gets an opportunity to compete for a championship one day because he is a champion in every way other than having the trophy.
And I hope he has an opportunity to check that box as well.
Rui Hachimura, again, I just thought his scoring was massive.
We talked about the rebounding earlier, but his ability to continually knock down threes off of skips, the random little 15-footers that he can hit here and there, I thought his scoring was brilliant as well.
It just was a great team win for an extremely resilient Lakers group.
We talked about this on the show, but this Laker group just does not quit.
And it's been in my time rooting for the team, the most fun group that I can remember rooting for.
So Austin should be back in game four.
That was crazy how he's questionable.
And it looked like he might play tonight.
He ended up not playing.
I thought that was the right decision because essentially the Lakers are riding a rhythm with the way they've been playing with the, like with Luke Kennard and Marcus smart, you're coming off two days off.
Everyone's fresh and ready to go.
I thought it was the right call.
