Dollar im Jahr verdient habe, dachte ich, dass ich in Privatfahrzeugen fliegen würde und alles machen würde. Aber ich wusste, dass ich etwas anderes wollen würde. Ich wollte diese Werte bauen. Aber ich wollte nicht wie alle anderen leben. Ich wollte etwas anderes machen. Also habe ich weiter klein gelebt. Deshalb bin ich weiter in diesem Auto gefahren, weil alle fragten, was ich eigentlich mache.

People were wondering, is Jasprit actually successful or is this guy a hoax? Is Jasprit broke? Can you not afford a nicer car? And so I kind of put myself in this position of like hearing this stuff and wanted to really, you talked about confidence. I wanted to really build my confidence to be that person that did something different. And I, I don't know, I get joy, I'm a weirdo.

I get joy out of that. When I graduated law school, I told my dad before I graduated law school, even before, that I'm only doing this for you. And so when it was my graduation day, everybody, you know, you wear a nice suit and tie and you kind of get all dressed up to go. I told my dad, look, I told you I'm going to get you the diploma, but I'm going to do it on my terms.

I get joy out of that. When I graduated law school, I told my dad before I graduated law school, even before, that I'm only doing this for you. And so when it was my graduation day, everybody, you know, you wear a nice suit and tie and you kind of get all dressed up to go. Das ist nicht so, wie es funktioniert. Aber was ich glaube, ist, dass du dich immer daran erinnern musst und dir die Motivation und die Disziplin im Anfang geben musst, wieso du angefangen hast.

In unserem Büro hat jeder neben seinem Tisch dieses Taktbord, wo du Bilder oder was auch immer drauflegen kannst, um dich daran erinnern zu lassen, wieso du hart arbeitest. And I started a business at the time. I was working in the e-commerce world and I started a sock company.

Und ich war froh, dass mein Geschäft auch gewechselt wurde.
