But it was an incredible performance and really Brentford should have scored more that day.
I think if you'd asked me a week ago, I wouldn't have had much confidence in Brentford
winning because they, I think, drawn six games in a row.
They lost to Man United, but beating West Ham has hopefully given them a bit more energy.
And I do think that Brentford, the entire time they've been in the Premier League,
There's just something about playing big six teams that they get up for.
Whereas when they're expected to play at home, dominate teams, around them in the table, that's when they tend to catch you off guard and underwhelm you.
I think it's sometimes because if you look at that Brentford team at the moment, you've got Thiago, who's fantastic at his big burly striker, holding the ball up.
Then you've got Sharda and Dango Watarra, either side of him, running in behind.
And I do think that suits them.
They've got some very good...
defenders who don't mind sort of sitting deep so they can hurt teams less so set pieces this year they're not nearly as good from set pieces as they used to be but certainly on the counter attack they're still really effective and on the threat whereas I think when it has to control games they're not quite as good and it's the shootout for the golden boot as well Harlem VTR game so
Three goals between them currently.
Sorry, I should say, Brentford know they're in a fantastic position to qualify for Europe for the first time in their history.
And as I said, results over the last couple of months have sort of grinded that momentum down to a whole...
beating West Ham, sort of giving them a little bit more impetus.
Their final game is at Anfield.
Salah's last game, Robertson's last game.
You don't really want to be going into that game thinking, you know, we need to win here to keep our European dreams alive.
I'd say that right now they're probably thinking the pressure's not on us when we go to Man City.
