tempted to look in the market for something that is a little bit left field.

Now, the Nunes one's interesting because when he was Liverpool's first choice number nine and Liverpool had paid big money for him, I'd look at that completely different to sign him on a three as a fourth or fifth choice striker, to be honest, and I've had my gripes with Nunes.

But there's other players as well out there.

I mean, there might be players who are over 30 or, you know, just come towards the end that can play in the Cups.

I'm not too sure Liverpool will go into the season with Jeremy Frimpong and be only right back deep gotten.

I think what I learned anyway is there's three parts to it because everyone that came in last summer, I was made up with.

I was the one shouting from the rooftop that Liverpool are getting the business done and going and saying the best strike here and going on.

There's another part, it's the player out.

So there's players in, players out, and then the third one is where you'd end up as a squad.

I think the people at the first one, bang on last year, I think the signings that we made, we were signing top talents, the right age, spending money like they should, but then we had players leave that we didn't replace.

And then what you'd end up with, when I'm watching them in the community shield, there's gaps all over this.

And I was concerned then.

There was gaps all over it.

Don't get me wrong.

Once Chiesa put that in and I scored that free kick, I thought we were going to be signed.

But the lesson I learned is that we definitely weren't signed.

And if you leave holes in a squad to fill later, it will affect your season massively.

And to the point where a manager that just wanted to leak him was his job.

Now, don't get me wrong, there's a lot that Arnold Slott's got to answer for.

But I guarantee if he was sat there now, he'd be saying, it's not just my fault.
