I genuinely, I don't know.
I mean, he seems to be enjoying himself for a bit of Germany out there, but his attributes seem to point towards, you know, get him in them tight spaces with decent wingers and strikers and all, and he's going to cause some serious problems.
The idea that the pressing thing, I've seen Carragher mention this on CBS when he talked about Iriola and the players that Liverpool have got, he's not sure whether they can play the pressing.
I'm not really buying that, I normally agree with Carragher, but I'm not having that a 21, 22-year-old lad can't press.
I think he talks in the same clip about good managers taking good players and making them great, or great players and making them world-class.
you add something more intensity to Foley and Werth's game, and you get him pressing at the other end of the pitch, but them forwards that we talked about, I think he can definitely do it.
If he presses as a unit, I don't think that would be a problem.
It's a nice problem to have.
There might be a time where Werth and Sabozlai both play and he is off the left.
There might be a time where Werth doesn't start for Liverpool and you're going, well, he's probably played as a model.
that impacts what you do at first but it's quite interesting that because we both said there and you said yourself no one in Sir Bosley can do that further up the pitch but a lot of people would say Sir Bosley has been our best right back this year and he played the right back role but he played it similar to the centre where he came in and he occupied that space around the centre circle one of the times maybe there is a conversation where it's Gravenbeck and Sir Bosley and it's the old school one sit one goes maybe it's that
I'd like that a bit more.
I think it will leave us short in midfield.
I feel quite strongly about this one because everyone is obsessed with starting XI's and it seems to me that a lot of supporters, if a player's not good enough to start in the XI, right now, what are you for?
Get rid of him.
And I don't believe in that.
it's almost like they didn't look at the bench a few times last season and go what we'd do for a couple of them on the bench exactly and I don't think Curtis Jones does want to get off I think he's just like the kids he wants to be at Liverpool but he doesn't want to he doesn't want to be I'm not going to say add off because it's mega money but the point is he's on a low wage now by all accounts the report online anything between Β£25,000 and Β£50,000 a week one might be gross but the point is it's a low wage for the football that's won leagues and won European Cups etc
So if he's on that, and Liverpool, if he's on 25, 30 grand a week, Liverpool double his money.
That's 100% pay rise.
He's still on 60 grand a week, still on 80 grand a week, when they just get Granbeck to 70 a week.
