But for some reason I didn't and
And I called on Rugby League for that.
And as soon as that, I went to training.
And then I played on Monday Night League.
And then they put me on a plane and sent me to Canterbury to play.
And then we came back and played Ota Hoo.
And then after that, it was the season over, and I was like, oh, now what?
And Bernie's like, MΔoris, Auckland MΔoris.
So Australians are training for Auckland MΔoris.
Something to focus on, you know?
Something to keep me going.
I think that I was lucky in that aspect.
Rugby League was a passion of mine, you know, and it was that revival of that that kept me over here rather than going back.
So I call it, you know, Rugby League, it really did save my life.
Well, actually, Bernie goes, oh, they got this new New South Wales Cup team, which is like Warriors reserves, trial, you should go.
I was like, whatever.
Anyway, I went and I made the team.
And so I got out in October and the trial was, I don't know, maybe January or something.
and then went straight into like two trainings a day um but they traveled every second week they followed the warriors kind of thing which i couldn't um oh you could only do home games yeah yeah yeah travel restrictions yeah so um yeah i remember um one of the guys from the warriors like
