They come in having lost three straight.

The Suns were rolling.

I think maybe they had won three straight.

And once it flipped to Phoenix after the Heat blew the lead, I was like, oh, this could be.

Kind of a crisis for Miami, but basically Bam checked in, got a steal right away, started making plays, hitting three-pointers, and then Powell brought him home, even though the Suns had looks for Grayson and Dylan Brooks to tie the game.

I mean, the Grayson-Allen one was a little deep, but Dylan Brooks I thought was a pretty solid look from the corner.

It does feel like the Heat are starting to run pick and roll more often, especially with Tyler Hero and Bam.

what, five seasons now at this point.

So they got the chemistry and it's a good wrinkle that I think the Heat need.

You know, there's a reason that the pick and roll is the most used play in the NBA for every other team besides Miami.

But that was Bam's first 20 plus point game since December 15th.

The guy's been struggling for sure right now.

The Heat's fortunes have kind of followed alongside Bam's struggles here.

So they needed that win.

Bam needed to have a game like this where he goes out and looks like an offensive weapon.

Good work by Phoenix to get back in the game and even take the lead in the fourth, but they did have some brutal turnovers down the stretch too.

You had Mark Williams, he had some happy feet under the rim, got called for the travel.

Then you had Grayson Allen stepping out of bounds on the sidelines when they were inbounding the ball.

uh in front of the miami heat bench there and then uh dylan brooks he brought up that three point attempt from the corner it was a good look i think he was a little too concerned with maybe trying to draw the foul could be instead of trying to hit the shot because he airballed it and then he got called for the flagrant foul as after he releases the shot decides to like sort of hit and pull down wiggins i think it was in the corner and then that was basically the game only dylan brooks could somehow get a flagrant foul while he's the one
