They're saying enforce the collectively bargained rules that we all agreed on.
Giannis is healthy.
He wants to play.
Ownership is saying no.
That's what a union is supposed to do.
But it also just shows the disconnect between...
Giannis and the front office because like you're saying Giannis is what he's been doing for the past I don't know three years but certainly for the past one year is trying to be the good guy and he's trying to be the good guy here by saying I want to play these could be my last games in Milwaukee though he's not specifically saying that we all know it it is better for the Bucs
Even if they keep Giannis for him to not play this season.
Slightly better for their draft odds, though it's not going to matter all that much because they can't move up that much.
That's my problem with the statement.
This wasn't really about tanking.
It's not.
It's more like, look it, they are keeping our guy out and they shouldn't be doing that because he's healthy and he wants to play.
And he wants to play.
Yes.
Yeah, but it's more like you just said, this idea, we don't want him to get hurt because we either, he's going to sign an extension and says he wants to be here for life, and we want Giannis as healthy as possible to compete, or the more likely scenario, we're going to trade him, especially if there's no contract extension, which they've, now ownership is basically...
said that on record if that's not saying we're moving them we're dealing them um that we want more of a return we don't want an injured janice because that's not going to help our chances to get x amount of picks or x amount of young players or whatever so but it's not really about the tanking is that's the funny part here though they sort of made it seem like it because there are way more egregious examples across this league of actual tanking than this in my opinion
And I don't think he's hurt his trade value to this point, but it's getting borderline how much he is getting hurt.
His calves are getting hurt.
So you just don't take another chance if you're the Milwaukee Bucks.
