I don't know I kind of wish that I kind of had like gradual concussions and I knew that like rugby was coming to an end but on the 8th of September throughout the day I knew that I was like right well like I want to have a real good career here but there would be no thought of like well geez you might have a big injury tonight and
Also, another thing with the injury is I talked to someone about it a few weeks ago about the injury, and the whole time I've never, ever blamed the university because if you look at some β
articles that says like university of otario student fell through and i don't want the university to be uh tagged with it because they have nothing no fault in this like they didn't do it like they were in charge of me like it was rugby it was me it was my choice that i got up on the roof um
So, yeah, I was always like, well, it's not the university's fault.
But, yeah, I think one thing I'm going to look into differently is that, so the person I was talking to used to go to the University of Otago a few decades ago, a few years ago.
But she used to go to uni and there used to be five pubs in the North Dunedin place, so right in the university place.
And I was like, well, and they're all changed to libraries now.
So I've only seen them as libraries.
And apparently it used to be quite rare to be a house party.
And I was like, well, actually, if the pubs, even one pub was still going, like, it probably might have been more likely I was at a pub that night, not on a roof.
And my dream has not been taken away from me.
So I was like, well, actually, there is another way to look at it.
It's not their fault, because for whatever reason, they've shut the pubs up.
But I've got some sort of passion to either look into how to open the pubs up again, or open the one pub.
Yeah, I don't wish this injury on anyone.
Geez, I didn't eat from my mouth for three and a half months.
