I think on the way here, we were in the truck and, um, someone was riding a bike without a helmet.
I've lost stuff there it just annoys me but yeah grateful to be alive and then look after yourself yeah you have to be looked after mentally physically all that type of stuff so yeah I think when I'm moving to the coaching referring side it's you know making sure people look after themselves yeah good on you okay best piece of advice for water lead listening I know you've listened to a few of them so you're probably prepared for this one
Yeah, I think, well, yeah, I don't really want to go on again, but looking after yourself is probably the big one.
I can't, I can't just enough, eh?
Like I, I wish I knew that I had a broken neck last year because then I would have, you know, I would have not played last year.
um but yeah there's so much like people that deal with mental health and then people that have got injuries they didn't know about it's like it could be fixed like it could be fixed if you reach if you are proactive and reach out to the right people right time you will get the help that you need um for whatever it is actually an example um is that i was talking to a coach the other day um good mates
And he was saying, like I was talking about looking after yourself, and he was talking about a player that he was talking to who had problems with lifting in the line-out.
And actually he got checked and it was a broken wrist.
So like that's a perfect example of people saying they're like, oh, it's quite sore, but it's going on.
But when they get it checked, they actually realize that something's actually going wrong in there.
So I wish, I wish that I knew that, like, just to look after yourself.
You don't have to put this persona of, of being a manly man playing rugby.
Just look after yourself, but play the sport you love.
