I don't know if I got the rugby from them but I just ever since I had the rugby ball I just was sold it was it and you had a dream to become a professional rugby player yeah definitely from a young age yeah I was quite like I was quite good at planning and like always planning like what's my next step like I'm planning now like what am I looking like for you next year and all that stuff
and even back then, I, um, probably until I was 14 years old, I had, I was just playing rugby willy-nilly, just, like, love the game, I'd just show up every time, um, and play, but, um, probably when I became about 14 years old, it was when I, like, solidified a goal, I was like, right,
It was when I watched the, around that time it was actually quarantine lockdown.
So I was at home, I was doing nothing.
And I remember watching the documentary, a ritual court documentary.
And it was the, the moment where he had written a napkin like his list of goals in a cafe.
I was like, well, okay, I might do that.
Like, I, you know, I want to do that.
And then I wrote my goals up on a piece of paper.
And one of them was an all black and all that type of stuff.
And then also I had with it, I had, I wanted to be known as like a solo player from, just from goal.
Like, the generation before me was, like, even the groups, like, top rugby players from my school, from Goal.
And you kind of see in articles that, like, a Tiger Boys high school student made this.
