That's probably why I got a bit of captaincy too.
I was probably all around the paddocks.
And then probably three years, I probably was a natural talker.
really quite a chatty um captain like a really quite a chatty i remember getting um a lot of like feedback that you know i'm just you know i'm talking every huddle so i had to learn to talk actually i got the inspiration from sean withy oh yeah so when i got a little crack for the southern stags last year i was in there for a little bit and i was kind of like absorbing all the information i'll get and what i was absorbing is that like sean withy was obviously the captain then i knew he was
But he didn't talk in every huddle and he was like, he was talking at like just, I don't know, random times and stuff like that.
But it was always, whenever he talked, everyone was flat out listening to him and like, you know, what do you want, you know, everyone was listening to what he says.
And I was like, well, actually, I want to, I want to be that for my team.
I don't want to be a guy that rambles all day.

So I played in, like, a grade for First of Dean, which is, like, you've got Southern Boys and Tiger Boys all at the top of schools, and then under that, like, I'm probably a few levels under that, and then that was my school, First of Dean.
Our school was... Actually, there's quite a funny story, actually.
So year 10, the year before then, we had a First of Dean for my school, and then when I was going to leave, and there was whispers that we're not going to have First of Dean, we're going to have to...
So I was like, well, geez, what are we going to do?
