An award where expectations seem to matter, right?

That's a big part of the Missoula factor.

It's like, ooh, a lot of people thought gap year.

They're going to be flirting with the play-in and all that.

Instead, they're the number two seed in the East.

But the Pistons ran away with the East and didn't miss a beat when Cade was gone.

And I think that, to me, cemented Bickerstaff being deserving of this award.

Yeah, sort of shocking he's not even like Quinn Snyder at plus 50,000.

Not that he's going to win, but just to have his name there, that was a little odd.

Yeah, but preseason expectations, not many people were high on the Suns.

I think a lot of people were more likely picking the Suns to be one of the worst teams in the league than they were to be in the play-in.
