I mean, there is the whole, you know, the question of the player development aspect of it, right?

Do you send him down to AAA where he can catch every day and –

quote unquote, develop?

I think it comes down to this.

Do you think

there are opportunities for him at the major league level to get at bats and to catch.

He doesn't, he's like over the next three, two or three years, he's not going to catch five out of seven days.

Kirk, he's the number one guy here.

So, okay.

So Brandon Valenzuela probably turns into a guy who catches two, maybe three days a week.

All right.

I think he, he's showing you he can do that right now at the major league level.

Sure.

If it's not going to cost me a body,

I keep three catchers.

And again, I mean, no disrespect to Tyler Heineman, but at this point in time, I'm worried about, one, I need offense.

Having Valenzuela and Kirky in the lineup is going to give me some offense.

And two, that's how I maximize my lineup.

Tyler Heineman does have some utility in case I'm in the ninth inning of a game.
