One, if this is the way the American League is going to be around the trade deadline, and I'm going to tell you the truth, I'm not entirely convinced that it's going to suck all year, but if this is the way it looks, yeah, listen, I think the Jays will be, frankly, the Jays should be making calls right now.

Let's be honest.

I understand that there are no – it's very hard to make a big deal in June.

I get that.

Teams are focused on the draft.

I get all that good stuff.

But if I'm the Blue Jays, my payroll suggests that I wanted to take another shot at the World Series this year.

If that's the case, then I've got to be making calls already.

I don't –

I think the Jays, here's the thing, the Jays have shown us, the Jays have shown us in the offseason that they will be in the market for the best hitter and the best pitcher on the free agent market.

They just will.

That's a fact.

Doesn't mean they're going to get them, but they will be in that market.

That's different, though, than trying to do something in the middle of the season than making a trade when you've got to put pieces together and have pieces that people want in order to make a big deal.

I look at the American League.
