Again, it's how much.
to Dalton Varshow and his agent, think they can get in the open market.
What will that open market look like next year if there is some sort of labor stoppage?
It's entirely possible that free agents won't be signing.
If there is some sort of lockout and the season starts late,
which I think most people just assume will be, quite frankly, the best-case scenario right now.
If that's the case, does that make it a little harder for Dalton Varsha to get the contract he might expect in free agency?
Might he want to sign with the Blue Jays, maybe even on a shorter-term contract, and then go back into free agency?
couple of years down the road when there is no labor stoppage you know when when the market is as free as it usually is so there's a lot to think about that but um at at this point you know i i don't detect any great rush on the part of either side but safe to say that the jays like dalton varsho uh dalton varsho and his agent scott boris scott boris does a lot of business with the blue jay so i think you can kind of throw that out the window any concerns about that
It'll just be a matter of whether or not the sides can come to some sort of agreement in terms of value in term.

The Blue Jays have lost 7-1 to the Minnesota Twins.

Again, we get back to the first inning.
where the Jays did get George Springer on base with a leadoff single.
Jesus Sanchez hit a fielder's choice.
