The president of the United States has asked Secretary Rubio, who also happens to be his national security advisor, to directly, of course, under the president's close guidance and direction, to be the lead on this process.

Donald Trump's attempt to overturn the 2020 election was not about validating an election, but instead was a series of organized and unlawful acts meant to upend the democratic process through any means necessary.

I'm often asked, why did you do it, Jeff?

Why did you stand up against a sitting president?

Why did you take on an entire political party?

It's in that moment I was reminded of our family motto, doing the right thing will never be the wrong thing.

Yeah, I mean, it's hard to say this, but you could see it coming.

I mean, Donald Trump was pulling the strings and maneuvering in different ways.

You could see him laying that, sowing the seeds of doubt on the election process.

And folks were just willing to do and say anything to be in the cool kids club.

And unfortunately, that's the big part of the Republican Party.

It is a big Ponzi scheme.

Donald Trump is the head of a Ponzi scheme.

And every day it's got to get 1% shinier, 1% more bombastic.

So you forget about all the crazy stuff that was promised or done the day before.

And they're willing to do and say anything.

But I will tell you, there are millions of Republicans on the same journey I'm on.

They're just behind me.

They are waking up every day and they've just had enough.

They've had enough.
