Police, military, nurses, anyone who deals with real life is very good audience members.
Yeah, great at taking jokes.
And they need to see the humor in life, you know?
They're looking for a clown to laugh at because they deal with real shit.
In the last eight years, when cops tell me they're cops at shows, it's like, hey, you know, I'm a police.
And I'm like, what's with this embarrassment?
Like, why do you feel like you need to be like an undercover police officer when you're like.
I think that they're great.
They have to go into someone's worst day of their life every day.
Anytime you've ever had to call a cop, it's not a great day.
It's not a great thing that's happening.
And they have to enter someone's worst day every 15 minutes or every hour.
And I have a tremendous amount of respect for people that do that.
And they feel ashamed to be a cop because they've been vaguely blanketed as like oppressors or racist or some sort of power hungry bad guys.
