I have four kids, 12, 10, 7, and 5.
So I'm in this landscape.
I just coached seven softball games this weekend, man.
We were at the park all day Saturday and Sunday.
But more than anything, especially at the younger ages, just have fun.
Develop.
Teach these kids how to play the right way, right?
Who cares about wins?
Who cares about losses?
Because there will come a time when they get 14, 15 and on into high school where that stuff's going to take priority, right?
And then it's like, hey, I'm putting my players out there.
But more than anything, man, I love the game of baseball.
I love sports.
It gave me my life.
I'm obsessed with it.
You know, I'm a huge hockey fan.
My dad grew up in Boston, so we're B's fans.
And so, like, I'm all sports.
And I want kids to just love playing.
It's something that's so fun to play with your friends and to do that stuff and continue.
