When I was down in Christchurch at broadcasting school, there was an opportunity one day to go out to the Speedway and call Speedway.
I can't remember how it went, but I do remember it just being all on, full throttle, if you like.
I think the key is to be passionate, um, do some homework and have some fun.
You know, they're, they're the three things, because if, if you are passionate, have done some homework and having fun, that'll come through whether you're on radio or TV.
Um, and yeah, hopefully the people watching enjoy it.
Was down there and seeing the main stand full.
That's the one thing that we sometimes get a bit of grief about is when a sport's being broadcast.
And obviously our cameras are facing the field, but on the other side of it, particularly there, you don't have, well, there was no stand at that point, right?
So we had a great full stand in front as well and around the terraces.
So experiences like that, you sort of don't forget.
The provincial game, I think, hits differently.
