Well, they put all three aspects of the game.
They have good starting pitching, and that's what it boils down to.
If you get good starting pitching, you have a better shot at winning.
They played good defense, and they took advantage of a Mets team that is really anemic offensively and without some of their players that are on the injured list.
And so when Soto's out, they're a totally different team.
So they took advantage of it, and the Marlins played well.

You know, they have some good young players in Ewing.
You know, he's a really good young player.
They need to get healthy.
You know, you have Roberts, you have Alvarez, they're on the IL, you're missing Lindor, Polanco.
I mean, a lot of their good offensive players are hurt and they need to get them back in a hurry if they're going to try to make a move in the East.
I mean, this is a team that
you thought that they were going to compete in the Eastern Division, the NL, and possibly win and go to the playoffs.
I mean, they missed it last year.
What was their payroll?
Like a $380 million?
I mean, it's ridiculous to have a payroll like that and miss the playoffs.
But I think they'd probably give it another month, and if they're nowhere by the end of June, then I think they'd probably wind up selling.
I mean, I don't know.
