So just to get a home run from someone, not that you're shocked, it just doesn't happen very often.

They have to do different things to try to score runs.

They steal bases.

They put a lot of pressure on defense, on the other team's defense.

The bullpen pitches well.

And if you get good starting pitching, then it gives them a better chance to win that game.

Yeah, you know, with Owen, it's funny.

He's a very confident kid, which you absolutely love.

I mean, he feels like he should get a hit every time, and you absolutely love that mentality.

And, you know, obviously you're not going to every time.

He doesn't like striking out.

I like as an ex-player because you get too many players nowadays that, okay, a strikeout's a strikeout, and they accept it.

He's not accepting it, and he wants to try to work on it.

He's a guy that I think pulls off the ball a little bit.

There's teams around the league that tend to pitch him away more often and then breaking stuff down in the dirt, and that's when you get the swings and misses.

He's a young kid, and young hitters tend to second-guess themselves.

As a hitter, you're a guest hitter anyway, but even more so when you start struggling.

When he goes well is when he's hitting the ball the other way, and he's seeing the ball a little bit longer, and it gets a little bit deeper into his stance, and then he can start going the other way, and then that's when he starts clicking.

He had a really good series against the Mets.
