It's going to be a really, really firm and fast master's.
I mean, look, the guy's won it twice.
He knows how to get it done around here.
There are very few people who have more experience in a winning way at Augusta right now than Scotty Scheffler.
And I just think everybody's talking about his little slump, if you will.
He hasn't had a top ten finish in three starts.
He does have a win this year.
He's had a couple of other good finishes.
He's played good golf.
He just hasn't played great on Thursdays the last few starts.
He is interesting defensively.
He's coming in not having played.
His wife just gave birth to the couple's second child, Remy, and he hasn't played since the players.
That's rare for Scottie.
In fact, I looked it up last week, and a buddy of mine sent me this stat.
Since 2015, no player has won the Masters who did not play at least once in the last couple of weeks on the PGA Tour.
And Scottie would fit into that category.
Now, you know, records are meant to be broken, streaks are meant to be broken, but...
It is notable that Scottie is one of the favorites coming in, and he should be, and he's a two-time Masters champion, but he hasn't played in a long time competitively, and that's
usually takes a little while to get you into rhythm.
