It's like, no apologies.

If Edmonton believes that he's the best available guy,

We're not making apologies for track record, anything.

Because we've been talking about this.

Kelly McCrimmon, whatever they do, hey, we're going to sign this guy.

We're going to trade for that guy.

We're going to fire this person.

It's like we're trying to win.

So maybe it's a scenario.

That's the first thing I thought of because that kind of came out of left field for me.

And then you start to go, okay, is this the right fit?

You know, what happened in Columbus?

And then, Brian, what you said is the guy's a great coach, and he has pedigree, and he's a hardened coach.

I still maintain if you were going to head down that path, there's a guy that lives 60 kilometers up the road in Daryl Sutter if you wanted a one-year deal.

But maybe Babcock's a little younger, that type of scenario.
