It kind of seems like we have a bit of a different flavor for MVP on this show weekly.

But are we overlooking the MVP right in front of our eyes?

Because Jesus is incredible right now.

I just want to bring up one thing, Brian.

In training camp, I said it would not shock me if Connor McDavid gets 140 points, 135 points this year, and you said not a chance.

He said his days of getting 130 points are over.

No, I never said that.

And you followed it up with, it might be around 100 or 90 or something like that.

And then you followed it up with, they just don't win MVPs at age 30.

He's going to get 142.

If I had to put a name down, this is recency bias because... Because Dry settles out.

And his game last night, it's almost like if someone handed me a piece of paper... He's still third on FanDuel, which is wild.

I think if San Jose got in, I might go Celebrini, but...

If you gave me a piece of paper right now and said, just give me one name for the MVP, the Hart Trophy, I would write down Connor McDavid.

I would just write, Jesus.

I just find the coaching of the dominant teams just gets overlooked.

Not too many games where I just turn off and say I can't do it.
