That's the whole thing.
You're supposed to go to school.
I do think every team had a different relationship with the education system in their respective town.
Because I had the same experience.
When I first got to Barrett, it was like, you're going, and you've got to be there.
And I was like, no problem.
And then elsewhere, you'd hear, oh, that guy hasn't been in school in three weeks, playing in other parts of the league.
No, never step foot.
And it was always amazing when you got there young.
The overagers, you're like, what are you doing all day?
What is a 20-year-old guy in Guelph doing that's graduated high school?
I always was wondering.
I'd ask someone, what did you do today?
Slept in, went to the gym.
Video games.
And then came here and practiced.
That's about it.
The overage lifestyle was a great life.
A great life.
It was a great, great life.
