I think, though, that with a guy his age,

If you say to him, we are going to give you opportunity after RBI opportunity with Michael Garcia, Bobby Witt, Vinnie Pasquitino hitting in front of you, I don't mind challenging the other guy.

I mean, Kevin McGonigal started the year hitting seventh for the Tigers.

Then he moved to the leadoff spot.

Now he's hitting second.

So I mean, I think it's possible.

You know, he got moved up because he was producing.

And once he was producing even a little too much for the leadoff spot, that's when they put him in the two hole, which if you ask any analytically inclined person in the game, where is your best hitter hit?

The answer is usually two holes.

So I think the Tigers spoke volumes with doing that.

And it showed that, hey, even a young guy, even somebody a month into his career can be thrust into this position and can still thrive.

And I know you don't want to mess with a good thing.

He's comfortable where he is right now.

But at some point, if he continues to produce, he is going to hit higher in the lineup.

And I would just rather be on the side of sooner than later for that.

Because he might be missing out on runs that can be driven in at this point.

I would not bank on that at this point.

And anytime you're talking about a rotator cuff, you get scared.
