maybe four if you're lucky, okay?
So that's really the trade-off that you make when you're building cartridge cases.
Okay.
Let me ask you a question.
Sure.
Why are you using case head diameter, I assume?
Yes.
I would tell you, if the pressure is high, you've got likely more
bolt movement as a result of that.
And so you ought to expect to see higher headspace dimension compared to a lower pressure cartridge.
I'm just asking.
So you're measuring before firing and after?
Primers lie.
That's a good line.
I mean, there's a lot of problems with primers, and I guess we can kick it around a little bit.
But I mean, just things like.
you know what are the dimensions of the primer versus the pocket what's the roughness of the pocket um what's the headspace look like on the gun so when you set the primer off the first thing that happens is that primary cup comes slamming back to the to the bolt face yep okay and then the the hot
particle-filled gases go venting into the propellant bed, and then things start taking off.
And once the bullet leaves the cartridge case, then the case can slide back.
And so, depending on the details of how the
