So he said that he was involved in the Good Friday Agreement negotiations.
He did it on that Monday or Tuesday.
Then he did it in Parliament.
He did it in Parliament on Wednesday, Thursday.
He did it back home for Friday, sometimes working over the weekends.
And that was to set the scene for what came next.

Afterwards, I told my wife about it.
He said, when I asked her how long it lasted, he replied, not very long, weeks.
And that is something I deeply regret.
And I told my wife about it.
He was then asked if she found out.
And he said, no, that he told her.
And he told her because he had regretted it.
He said he regretted it because they'd always had a good relationship.
And then this happened and it had caused her a lot of hurt and pain.
