I think like aggressively pursuing, at least to me, makes it sound like it means you made an offer.

To me, that means if you made an offer, you're interested.
Like when it's put out there by you made it.
If somebody reports, you're aggressively pursuing a guy.
To me, that means you have made a competitive, you know, marketable market, reasonable offer.
So do you think that they're offering like a three-year, $90 million deal?

What if they're doing this with Valdez to sign him to, let's say it's 2-60 hypothetically, to turn around and trade Mitch Keller for a third baseman?

Somebody wants Keller.
You trade Keller for one of these AAA high-end prospects.
