But when we look across the country, it's also very district specific.

We saw a pretty establishment Democrat win in a very blue district in Utah.

We saw an establishment Democrat win in the most competitive and most expensive primary in Maryland.

So I think there's six of one and half a dozen of another.

There is no question that Mamdani had a good night last night.

All three of the congressional races in which he got involved saw his candidate win the race.

So there is definitely a shift, at least in the New York congressional delegation.

What we saw last night was that Democrats in Maine understand this.

And although many of them were disappointed that Janet Mills suspended her campaign, they still threw their support behind Plattner, despite the fact that Mills was on the ballot, to demonstrate a unified front in taking on Collins.

This race has been up and down and all over the place for months.

The Democrats didn't get the candidate that they expected when Eric Swalwell dropped out.

And Becerra kind of resurrected himself from the dead.

And so there's been a lot of uncertainty, a lot of late decision making.

And I wouldn't count Tom Steyer out yet either, because there were so many votes cast on Election Day that we've got to be patient as they come in.

He has a problem that Joe Biden had a few years ago, which is that you can you can name a bunch of metrics that suggest that the economy is moving in the right direction.
