And then Trump tells The Wall Street Journal that Iran shooting down the helicopter wasn't a big deal.

Pop this up in a phone call with The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday.

Trump said the blockade was making Iran, quote, very poor and said he would keep it in place as long as necessary.

He sought to play down the helicopter incident, saying that it wasn't a big deal and stressing that the pilot is fine.

So this is the duplicity that exists in Republican politics.

They have a standard for Democrats that they, I mean, it's almost like they love to freak out over Obama's tan suit.

Anything that they can lose their shit about with Democrats.

But then when it comes to a Republican doing it, there's no standard whatsoever.

They celebrate the American weakness.

Donald Trump has never given a shit about the troops.

He has never given a shit about the military.

Everybody who worked with him in Trump 1.0 came out of that.

Neocons, Republicans, conservatives came out of it saying, this guy is a fascist.
