Because I thought it was weird at first.

I was like, at the end of the day, we're making duck calls.

He's like, no, no.

These are new creations that we're calling men with.

We're the decoys.

It was that bit every day in the shop.

was like, we're wanting to show them God is real.

Because when you think about a duck call concept, you have fake decoys, but you're making a sound.

That's why his greatest memory was when the guy that came to the Lord, who was the FBI agent,

And he took a different call maker's calls and he put them through the voice analysis test compared to a real mallard hen.

I remember when that did happen.

Yeah.

And it actually became part of the marketing scheme of Duck Commander because he said, I tested all these duck calls and yours didn't.

matched a mallard hen and he was like but that day when that happened he said see that's what that's that's what i'm talking about this is really a mallard hen and he would go back to when jesus came in our faith he's real he works in people's lives and we're mirroring that through this process follow the example of christ which is good what about you jeff

He actually played on our recreational softball team.

He played on the Doug Commander team in the center field.

Do you remember the night he catches a ball on the center field wall and turned around?

It was the only time I've ever seen this in a game.

I mean, we're in a wreck.

He threw that ball, and literally the whole stadium and everybody who was just on looking stopped because the throw was so amazing it didn't look human.
