And this person kept saying over and over, my wife left me. And she destroyed my relationship with my children. She took the house. She got half of my money. I didn't want a divorce.

They need to be changed. All of the incentives around marriage have become deeply inverted to the detriment of our society. These are real policy issues that need to be addressed.
