But it's just a cheaper version of the Mossberg 500.
The Mossberg 590 and the subsequent 590A1 were the gun that Mossberg modified the 500 for a military contract.
So a 500, you can't put a magazine tube extension on because...
The way the barrel adheres to the end of the barrel, it's like a screw that goes in.
But the magazine tube is capped.
Whereas a 590, it's open and it goes over the tube and then there's a cap on there.
So you can put a mag tube extension on a 590 and a 590A1.
The difference between a 590 and a 590A1 is like... Receiver steel on the A1, right?
I don't think that it is.
I think they're both aluminum.

I believe the 590A1 has...
I think it's like a different safety, like the way that the safety is adhered to the gun.
And I think the A1 has a bayonet lug and the 590 doesn't.
