They're threatening to resume the genocidal operations in the 33% of Gaza that is not under occupation right now.
They're weaponizing the Board of Peace to basically say that there isn't really gonna be a ceasefire anymore
in Gaza until the Palestinians surrender and say we have no right to armed resistance against occupation anymore.
So I don't think that this is entirely bad at all for the Israelis, even if a deal is signed.
In fact, I think Israel would be in trouble if this war resumed in a very serious way, because I think the Iranians would massively attack them with a replenished supply of ballistic missiles.
Yeah.
I get that.
And I understand why.
What I'm saying, though, is that we're dealing with Donald Trump.
We're not dealing with like with Barack Obama, a constitutional law scholar.
And I don't mean to, you know, I've spent many years criticizing Barack Obama.
I guess what I'm saying, though, is that no one can trust an agreement that Trump claims he's making.
And, you know, the Iranians were supposed to have certain funds unfrozen.
And Joe Biden was the one during his presidency after October 7th that blocked that.
It's very easy for them to reverse almost any concessions they would make to the Iranians.
And Iran is well aware of that.
So while I understand why those guys have all taken out that position, because they want the total maximalist, pummeling, destroy, murder Iran position.
I think the Israelis are far more sophisticated than those yahoos.
And the Israelis recognize that whatever Trump says, and that's evidenced by the Gaza deal, it doesn't really mean anything as long as the winks and nods are happening behind the scenes.
And I would bet there's some very heavy winking and nodding going on between Trump and Israel on this matter.
