You could be confident.

You just don't have to be so in everybody's face with some of these ridiculous statements.

So if you missed it and you're a little bit confused, obviously you could put two and two together.

Aaron Glenn yesterday says that Geno Smith is the quarterback that's going to take them to the, quote, promised land.

Now, part of this, too, is Aaron Glenn's just talking.

He's just out there.

He's with reporters.

He's just talking.

It's not after a game.

And he says something like that that he probably doesn't even think twice about.

But where the Jets are, how bad they've been, because they are a butt of jokes, something like that, because Geno Smith coming back is also something that the rest of the league will laugh at, even though we know this is a different Geno and we don't hate the move at all.

I actually think that he could do pretty well under the circumstances here, but people are going to laugh at it.

So what he needs to do, Brian Dable did some good things here, he did some bad things here.

One thing Brian Dable did was never make a headline with his mouth.

Not one time.

He was boring.

He never said anything.

It was frustrating to listen to, but he never made a headline with his mouth.

And Rex Ryan used to make headlines with his mouth, but he backed it up with wins.

Well, the team won.
