Did you ever hear of Kevin Calabro?

He was a Sonics guy.

It sounds familiar.

Didn't he go to the Blazers after the Sonics left Seattle?

Not sure, but Kevin Calabro might be on that list for Seattle sports fans.

I just wonder if Dave Sims is bigger than that.

So the thing about it is, if you're in some place for 20 years or longer, you become the voice of that team, kind of like Howie Rose, Sam Rosen, of course, John Sterling, and so on and so forth.

And Dave Sims was out there for so long.

And that's why he was getting those cameo requests, as you pointed out.

That's why he would probably go down as one of the great Seattle announcers.

I wonder if he goes around thinking that.

Does he go around telling people, like, I was definitely one of the... New York, it's tough.
