Yeah, absolutely.
Before I got into real estate, the market did not too much.
There was no real capital growth.
From what I'm told, if you were selling your property and you were breaking even, then you were doing really good.
Even for myself, buying property in Ipswich at a young age, it was kind of scary because you didn't know whether you were going to get any sort of momentum from it or any sort of benefit.
But
Then, like you said, COVID came along and I guess still being fairly undiscovered and the prices still being at a fairly low median, the attraction was there.
And from there, the prices have escalated quite dramatically in a lot of areas.
Yeah, extremely.
I actually met a gentleman on the weekend who was doing research from Melbourne.
He's just moved up.
And I had another gentleman from Melbourne who just bought one of my acreage properties in Carolee.
We do see a lot of buyers coming from the inner suburbs of Brisbane, not necessarily selling a property, but renting there and coming out to get onto these larger blocks.
It just comes down to what they're going to spend closer to the city versus what they get to compared to out towards Ipswich, they can get an acre or
quite a nice home for around that 1.3-ish kind of money.
It's kind of a no-brainer for them.
So I'd say a majority of our buyers for the larger lot areas in Ipswich are coming from probably more so in Brisbane than actual around Ipswich at the moment.
Yeah, yeah, definitely.
I think they're the best types of purchases personally, spontaneous ones.
But we do, it's not uncommon.
