So it was like a kind of comic voice. And I was auditioning and the people were laughing at the audition. These are like professional people. They had big shows on. And I remember thinking like, oh, I could be funny. I was partly doing an impression of a kid I met who was really funny and wry and stuff. And so then it was like, oh, I have kind of a voice.

And the show was basically asking me to do my voice. It wasn't asking me like in a Tennessee Williams play. You're like, I'm doing a Southern accent, but I'm a Jewish kid from New Jersey. Right.
