So I just thought I have to take the thing I've been doing in theater and just move it to movies where I can kind of take control of it a little more. I had written a book for Audible and instead of turning it into a play, which I was going to do, I turned it into a screenplay because I just thought then I could just get in movies. And it truthfully was helpful.

Like I was working with A24, produced it, and it was basically like I'm in with the cool kids again in the movies. Yeah. And I engineered it myself. And now I acted in my second movie. So now it even helps me as an actor. But it was kind of like, I guess, taking a backdoor back to the table that I felt I wasn't sitting at anymore.
