That makes sense, because that kind of humour is, like you say, funny for a one-shot, but I imagine... could drag after a year or two you know like yeah i do like comedy rpgs for a one shot like being silly and things for one session sure i could spend a few hours doing that but yeah i don't i don't think i'd want every other week or every week to be doing that myself

I guess because it's a one shot again there'd be less frustration potentially of the mechanics of that because if it's just for one night you're like okay fine but yeah in a campaign like we talked about before if there's you know if the rules aren't as tight and doesn't feel fair for everybody, that could become a real point of contention long-term.
